Any foreign national wanting medical treatment in India must come to India with a valid medical visa and medical X visa for their attendants. Patients or their attendants must apply online with the respectiveIndian High Commission in their country through a medical visa support letter either at home or in a neighboring country, after that the supporting medical documents are also sent to the hospital and Indian High Commission. After successfully completing the visa application form, they are given a date for visa assistance. Patients and attendants are required to appear for medical X visa and medical visa in person before the concerned visa issuing authority on the date provided by the Indian High Commission.The patient must bring a copy of the visa support letter sent to the hospital in India where he / she is treated and the patients must bring their old medical prescriptions and reports along with other supporting documents relative to their medical condition. After the patient arrives in India, the hospital documents and their residence in India must be registered with the local FRRO, so that they do not face penalty or any inconvenience when arriving in India, so we ensure a proper and in-time registration with the FRRO authorities.
